During the recent World of Concrete conference held in Las Vegas, DEUTZ unveiled its latest line of engines, including in-line engines and Xchange engines, which will be available worldwide starting from 2019.

Highlighting the TDC 3.6 Power Pack at World of Concrete Expo The showcased engines included the TCD 2.9, TCD 3.6, and TCD 4.1 models, as well as the compact TD 3.6 Power Pack designed for mobile machinery. This Power Pack offers customers a convenient ready-to-install solution.
DEUTZ also announced its plan to expand the range of higher output engines with four new in-line models, ranging from 9 to 18 litres in capacity.
The TCD 9.0, a four-cylinder engine, delivers an impressive 300 kW of power and generates 1,700 Nm of torque.
The TCD 12.0 and 13.5 are six-cylinder engines, offering 400 kW of power and 2,500 Nm of torque, and 450 kW of power and 2,800 Nm of torque, respectively.
The new TCD 9.0, 12.0, and 13.5 models share a common platform concept, featuring a high degree of parts commonality, reaching approximately 65 percent. This concept simplifies service and training complexity while streamlining spare parts stocking.
Moreover, these engines have standardised customer interface points, with identical front and rear configurations. This streamlined design significantly simplifies engine integration and servicing.
At the top end of the range, DEUTZ introduced the TCD 18.0, a six-cylinder engine boasting 620 kW of power and 3,600 Nm of torque. This particular engine targets heavy construction equipment that demands high power and torque capabilities.
DEUTZ Xchange
DEUTZ also presented its reconditioned Xchange engines, providing an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to purchasing new engines.
The Xchange engines undergo a comprehensive refurbishment process, ensuring they meet the same functionality and safety standards as new engines. DEUTZ guarantees the quality of Xchange products, offering an identical warranty to that provided for new engines.
