Looking back, we can proudly say that it has been a busy and rewarding year for DEUTZ. Our newly introduced range of portable gensets continues to make waves in the market, delivering reliable and versatile solutions tailored to local needs. We are continually developing new models to meet evolving demands.
Furthermore, we celebrated the success of our locally developed DEUTZ Drive engine, which has been our number one engine solution. This year, we expanded its capabilities by introducing our latest model, featuring an impressive 300kW of power.
In March, DEUTZ Australia relocated to our new and spacious premises in Melbourne, equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities for our valued dealers and OEMs. This significant milestone was driven by our business growth and the remarkable achievements of our Drive and Genset programs. Our dedicated staff quickly settled into the modern facility in Dandenong South, which boasts a warehouse three times larger than our previous one.
In June, DEUTZ AG was honoured to be recognised as one of Germany’s TOP 100 innovators. This esteemed recognition is a testament to our forward-thinking approach and our commitment to innovative processes and organisation.
On a global scale, DEUTZ AG experienced positive growth in revenue during the first nine months of 2019. Additionally, we strengthened our expertise in battery technology through the acquisition of battery specialist Futavis GmbH. Moreover, we established a new central genset production site in Morocco.
In an exciting joint venture, DEUTZ AG partnered with SANY, China’s largest construction equipment manufacturer, to build a high-performance engine factory in the Hunan province. Supported by the local government, this project is part of SANY’s intelligent heavy truck initiative and will incorporate DEUTZ’s innovative engine technology.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the invaluable support and enthusiasm of our partners and customers. Your unwavering commitment has played a crucial role in our success throughout the year. Personally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued contributions.
