DEUTZ generators are helping scientists at the Antarctic Research Centre to uncover the stories buried in the ice and sea floor.

A request from a dealer helping a government client to resolve the challenges of operating in remote locations sparked a new optional extra for DEUTZ’s Gensets. The DEUTZ-approved factory option is a solar-powered battery charger that is perfect for Australia’s remote but sunny landscape.

DEUTZ is helping to keep Tasmania’s historic West Coast Wilderness Railway on track with two generators at either end of the scenic route. Railway officials purchased two DEUTZ DPS33DB Gensets to ensure that its stations in Queenstown and Strahan are never without power.
